EVENT COMPLETED

A presentation by Nicole Boerema, Stephanie Carlson, Devon Hernandez, and Dawn McHale,

On Wednesday, September 29, West Shore Community College’s Humankind team will moderate a panel discussion entitled “Moving through Challenges: Understanding Disability in Our Community.”

The discussion will begin at 7 p.m. and will take place via Zoom.  It will be recorded and posted on the college’s YouTube page afterwards.

“People with disabilities move through a world that wasn’t designed for them,” said panel moderator and Director of Library Services Renee Snodgrass.  “We wanted to highlight the many types of disabilities and dispel some myths, as well.”

The Humankind series is West Shore Community College’s cultural arts and lecture series.  The theme for the 2021-2022 academic year is movement.  For more information about the Humankind series, email humankind@westshore.edu.  For more information about this event, contact Renee Snodgrass at (231) 843-5869 or rsnodgrass@westshore.edu.
