Join us on a Celtic Music Journey with Brian McClure

Our next humankind series event welcomes Brian McClure for a visit. Brian will sing, play some Celtic music on the fiddle, guitar, and bodhran drum, and take us for a trek through Ireland and Scotland. He will share his experience and evolution as a musician and specific human experience.

Brian started his journey with the violin in the traditional way of middle school and high school orchestra. Like most violinists after high school, he failed to find a use and time for the violin. After college, he traveled to Ireland on a whim with fiddle in hand. Not knowing what would happen he had great adventures busking on the streets and melding with the locals. Later he returned to Ireland and Scotland with a 3-piece band on tour. That band was Highland Reign. During his 6 years with that band, they produced 7 albums and toured Scotland and Ireland 3 different times.
